WHAT IT IS

Outdoor TV installation is a different job than indoor. The mount has to hold in weather. The cables have to survive temperature swings, rain, snow, and sun. The connections have to be sealed. We do this two ways depending on what the customer is set up for.

Option one: an outdoor-rated mount on a covered porch or patio. The TV lives in the open air but under a roof. Most customers who want outdoor TVs have this setup, and it is the simplest install.

Option two: a dedicated outdoor TV enclosure, which is a weatherproof housing that protects the TV on uncovered exterior walls. This option takes the install from straightforward to a full-weatherproofing job.

Either way, we handle the mount, the cable routing, and the final setup. We leave the electrical to the customer since most outdoor setups have the power already in place by the time we arrive. If you do not have outdoor-rated power, we can recommend an electrician.

THE REAL TALK

WILL MY TV LAST OUTDOORS?

Here is honest advice we give most customers. Outdoor TVs wear faster than indoor TVs no matter how premium the model. Heat cycles, humidity, and UV all take a toll over time.

If you have a fully protected outdoor space like a covered porch with real weather protection, a premium indoor TV can work well for years. If you have an exposed or semi-exposed setup, we suggest going a different direction: buy a solid mid-range TV and plan to replace it every few years rather than spending heavily on a premium outdoor-rated model that will still face the same weather realities.

The math usually works better. Most customers come out ahead on cost over five years.

CAN YOU MOUNT ON MY BRICK OR STONE?

Yes. Most outdoor installs involve brick, stone, stucco, or siding. We carry the right hardware and know how to anchor into each surface without cracking or weakening the material. If the surface needs a specific approach, we walk through it with you before we touch the wall.

The install should match what the exterior is built for. We make sure it does.

WHAT CUSTOMERS SAY

5.0 on Google. 4.9 on Thumbtack. Pulled directly from real customers.

  • Wow! What a great experience having a professional like Mike to wall mount our 75 inch TV. He had great communication and he was prompt, professional, and friendly. Don't be tempted to hire a generic handyman to mount your expensive TV when you can hire a real Pro like Mike. We give him our highest recommendation!

  • Called around to multiple people and I am VERY glad I chose this guy. I had a relatively difficult tile mount and he did an amazing job, came on time, super personable, and all around great service.

COMMON QUESTIONS

  • Do you handle the electrical?
No. We assume outdoor power is in place. If you need it run, we can recommend an electrician, but we focus on the install itself so we stay sharp at what we do.
  • Will my TV last outside?
Probably not as long as an indoor TV. Heat, humidity, and UV take a toll. See the real talk section above for how we recommend thinking about this.
  • Can you mount on brick, stone, or siding?
Yes. Most outdoor installs involve one of these surfaces. We carry the right hardware and know how to anchor into each without cracking the surface.
  • What about weatherproofing the cables?
Standard on every outdoor install. Cable runs from outdoor to indoor are sealed. Connection points are weather-rated or protected.
  • Do I need a special outdoor TV?
It depends on the setup. Covered porch with real weather protection: a premium indoor TV can work. Exposed setup: see the real talk section for our honest take.
